Go to your computer Manufecturer's website, and download the latest
Graphics/Video Card drivers for your Model Number laptop.
Or check to see if you have motherboard drivers on a CD for it.
If you do, install the Graphics one.

A few months back my HDD drive failed and have just recently got a new one.

Looking at the desktop and when using IE, the screen resolution looks
different to how it was pre HDD failure. I am aware that you can change the
resolution by right clicking on the desktop and using the propertied menu,
but there doesn't seem to be as many choices for the screen resolution. The
minimum resolution is pretty cr*ppy and my eyesight isn't that bad yet and
the maximum seems to stretch everything (not to distortion levels, but just
doesn't look right).
I can't remember the available setting as I am at work and don't have laptop
with me, but there are only 2 settings now whereas previously there were more
(I think!!). Is there something I need to install to have more than 2
options?
