Whatever you want. It's a personal preference and has nothing to do

Hmm. In a "general" group about an OS, I would think asking about a
critical software application such as antivirus to be a completely
legitimate question.
To the OP: AVG is good, but is no longer free. Starting w/ version 8.0,
it only works for a 30-day period. Note that the price is not that bad.
Other good AV programs (some free, some have similar minimal charges) are:
Avast!
MalwareBytes Anti-malware (I really kind of like this one)
Kapersky (sp?)
