A very helpful and informative post. Not wishing to gripe too much, I've
just discovered that archaic backup which comes with WinXP - must date back
to Noah's Arc. So one might ask why! On another note since this is XP
general, how do you find Opera Mail please?

Yes, you can have multiple browsers installed to your OS.

You could consider disabling all Security Settings in IE and use IE only
for the 'Patch Tuesday' updates; To do so you must add the following URL's
to the Trusted sites:

http://download.windowsupdate.com
https://*.update.microsoft.com
http://*.update.microsoft.com
http://*.microsoft.com
