| I am experiencing difficulty with Internet access which has got very slow
| over the last few days.
| Windows security alert reports Firewall is off; Windows Firewall in Control
| panel says 'Windows Firewall settings cannot be displayed because the
| associated service is not runing'; so Windows will not allow me to enable
| Windows Firewall even through Control Panel.
| I also can't access Internet Options at all through Control panel; it was
| saying 'system administrator has denied access'; I am the system
| administrator presumably. Internet Options icon has now disappeared
| altogether from Control panel.
| Network Connections folder in Control panel is also empty.
| All was normal up to four days ago. I have AVG antivirus.
| Anyone got any suggestions how I can regain control?
1. Download and execute HiJack This! (HJT)

2. Disable Notepad's word wrap:
In Notepad.exe; Format --> uncheck; "Word wrap"
3. Download/run Deckard's System Scanner:

4. Save the scan results (Main.txt and Extra.txt)
5. And then post the contents of Main.txt and Extra.txt in your post in one of the below
