I tried to do a drag and drop back up but it aborted as it

How can I get round this?
Boot up in safe mode?
well.. I know some files in use don't. some do.
open a txt file in notepad, it copies fine.
I guess it depends which process is locking it.
xxcopy(an improvement to xcopy) may be able to copy any file whether
in use or not.
If you burn a copy of Bart PE Load that up. It's like a Win XP Live
CD. Then you could copy them, any way you want. 'cos no process will
lock them.
