I have Googled, but not found (probably my fault) how to restore
missing registry keys.
I have just used 'Codec Tweak tool' in K-Lite Codec Pack to help
solve a problem and it reports some missing Registry Keys.
Somewhere along the way K-Lite install reported (amongst similar
others) 'DirectShow filter was detected as broken'

Remove this item from registry?
(Yes = recommended)
YES NO
Now just to be on the safe side I didn't do a YES here !!
(I have already backed up registry 'and' exported it to a memory
stick)
Can someone tell me please, where I can get such a missing registry
key and put it back in it's rightful place, or show me where to find
the help I need?
Thanks

did you go back to a system restore point, before you had the problem. and
then reinstall the app?
