Not immediately after (maybe a few weeks or more) I did recently install
Kaspersky Internet Suite ( a renewel, but had to uninstall old & then
install new subscription) And a couple of weeks ago I installed Maxo
software for a Maxo external hard drive. I do not recall having any issues
tho.
maybe this will help? I clicked on the link in the Event Log that shows a
red circle. It brought up this info: Event_Boot_System_drivers-Failed
the following boot=start or system=start dribvers failed to load: %1 "The
specified drivers did not load correctly. the ddriver might not be in the
expected location. Action: Verify drivers are configured properly (HOW do
I do that?)
Verify that the comp[uter is running the most current version of
the drivers. (Again- how?)
Should I continue to read the details of any red circle items in all the
event logs? not sure what I would be looking for tho ;(

Did this behavior start after you'd installed WinXP SP3?

This flashes on the screen too fast for me to read/write down all the
information.
It begins with "the instruction at 0X0012e614-------------could not be
read"... The last part says something about debug, but closes too fast for
me to read the entire thing. I was advised to review the event logs, but
that is really doesn't work for me since I don't have a clue what I am
reading when I see a couple of yellow warnings in the 'system' log file.
I
have tried changing the settings in my computer/properties/advanced/
settings for startup & recovery to longer than the 30 seconds it shows...
thinking that would give me more time to read the entire message. Changed
to 60 seconds- but that did not seem to change- still flashes before I can
read it. Can someone please help me? I tried a search but could not find
anything with the "00012e614 and errors. Thank you.
