Apparently, the two keyboards use a different

Any help would be appreciated.

Boot into Safe Mode (stab F8 key during booting, select "Safe Mode"
from the menu).
Login as Administrator, the password is blank by default, unless you
changed it.
When your system lets you in, go to Control Panel, Users, Select your
user <John> and change the password to something else.
Reboot, and login as John and use your new password.

Good luck.

I believe he is talking about logging in the default (hidden) admin account
that you can access from safe mode. That password is by default blank no
matter if you set a password for the normal login accounts or not. This
admin account is there for emer. use only like Bill's problem.
