You'll need to modify the ACL for the drive contents. You can add a
user "Everyone" and grant it Full Rights. XP Pro provides direct access
to Security for Files/Folders. Using XP Home you'll have to boot to Safe
Mode to be able to modify ACL ( Access Control Listing ). On XP
Professional "Simple File Sharing" may have to be modified to enable
the Security (TAB) to appear for disk contents.

Hello all,
I have a Freecom Toughdrive 160Gb which I want to use as "travel disk".
A part will be public and another part will be private.
Since i'll have some files that exceed 4GB, i converted the FAT tot NTFS.
All is fine as long as i work on the same computer/same user at home. When
I plug it in to another workstation, i can read, but can't alter, delete
the data.
What should i do to make this fully accessable, on any Windows XP machine?
Thanks.
