For some reason I can no longer play web videos from news sites like
MSNBC,
NYT, Washington Post etc. Also can't play any Youtube videos. Until
recently, I had this capability but now it's gone. It happened about
the
time I downloaded SP3 but I'm not sure it is related to that event.
The culprit seems to be a lack of Adobe Flash Player. It seems to be
missing from my computer. When I attempt to download the latest
version
from the Adobe site, it will not do it. There are many suggestions
from
Adobe as to why it won't download but none seems to help. I would
really
like to get this capability back. Any suggestions will be
appreciated.

Unfortunately, you neglected to tell us which suggestions you have
already tried!
Is there anything on this page you haven't tried yet?:
"Troubleshoot Adobe Flash Player installation for Windows"

Usually, all that is necessary is uninstalling and reinstalling. Also,
it's important to configure your browser correctly (especially,
Javascript and ActiveX settings).
Finally, programs like SpywareBlaster have settings to disable Flash
content, so check to see whether you have something like Flash Killer
enabled.
