I have WAN and have not LAN

Hi Group
I hope somebody can help me
My Laptop has internet ok but I cannot connect to shared folders in other
station in my LAN. This problem shows only on my LapTop. The interesting
part is that my LapTop works as MYSQL server and I am able to access it from
other the other stations but its shared folders. Weird huh!!
Please Help!!
Any comment is greatly welcome.
