So guys - I can really use your advice/wisdom

I JUST bought a new system and while installing xp - i hit the power
cord..

now when i boot up (even with the cd in the drive) it says
error loading operating system

how do I "start over" i.e. boot from the cd room and get this to work?

Thanks so much and I appreciate any help!

You do a standard installation:
1. Get into the BIOS setup.
2. Set the CD drive as the primary boot device.
3. Boot the machine with your WinXP CD.
4. Partition & format the disk when prompted.
