Hi, I have installed Windows XP SP3 on all my client Windows XP
workstations
through WSUS. When a user locks his workstation using CTRL+ALT+DEL and
tries
to unlock the workstation, their username is blank. Before SP3 the
username
was there and the user only had to type their password. Is there any way
to
get this back? Also their username is not displayed in the lock dialogue
box. It shows no username at all.
Thanks for any help.
How interesting (even uncanny) that within the last 15 minutes two of us
have posted SP3 problems with usernames.
Although my problem had to do with e-mail and not "unlocking a workstation".
See subject titled "E-mail username & p/w had to be reentered after XP SP3
installed".
