Hi, I have discovered that the file AirGCFG.exe is part of the D-Link
software for my PCMCIA Wireless G Notebook Adapter. Uninstalling this
software has resolved the problem. I presume that when I re-install the
software all will be OK, if not in the words of the Terminator "I will be
back."

No problems experienced during upgrade from Windows XP SP2 to SP3.
However, when the computer is booted now an error message appears;
AirGCGFG.exe - Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point
apsGetInterfacecount could not be located in the dynamic link library
wlanapi.dll.
Has anyone else experienced this problem, if so have you found a solution?
Andrea
