Maybe that occurred silently because I never installed SP3 and never received request for such update. How this could happen?
Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs --> identify XP SP3 (936929) and remove it. (Make sure Show Updates is checked and look for the #.)
As I told ALL updates disappeared from 'Add or Remove Programs'. The only one in the list is KB915865. And there is no SP3 in that list.
