Can't say for sure, but SP3 would install a new ACPI.Sys and PCI.sys
drivers on the computer. Maybe your BIOS firmware revision is not
fully ACPI compliant with SP3. Sometimes it is just a particular setup
( Or combination ) that has problems. There is no way that any software
can be fully tested to work with every configuration that exists.
