That is a background service that is part of a Norton product.
Not at all surprising as Norton products are no longer efficient,
effective or fairly priced. Beyond making sure Live Update is
getting all the available updates it's a mostly unfixable issue &
has only a single solution - remove it and buy something that
will work.

When I shut down my computer, I get a window that says ccSvcHst is not
responding and I have to tell it to end program to complete my shut down.
This does not happen every time, but it is quite frequent. I cannot figure
out what causes it. Any body know what I should be looking for to resolve
this?
