What you have is also what you want for slipstreaming.

I fully understand the difference of an exe over iso. But the writeup on this ISO says that it should not be used on a one PC install. Do you have any input why they say this?

They say the .exe is smaller and yes, its 314 megs as compared to the 544 megs of the iso. But I thought SP3 was SP3? I installed the .exe a week ago, so now I'm more confused. I ordered the SP2 cd years ago. Kinda thought it would be nice to have SP3 on cd too and I can burn them now, couldn't burn SP2 years ago (no burner).

It actually says:

"DO NOT CLICK DOWNLOAD IF YOU ARE UPDATING JUST ONE COMPUTER: A smaller, more appropriate download for individual users is now available on Windows Update <http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com>.

The reason is to save you time. If you are updating just one PC/Laptop then it makes sense to update via Windows Update as the download is likely to be smaller. If, however, you an IT professional and wish to deploy it enterprise wide then clearly the larger file is more appropriate as each system is different from others!

If you installed SP3 from the download link I posted few days ago then you are OK because this latest file is no different from what you have got except the date!!.

Have you turned on the Automatic Updates feature of your system? I think you should so that you get the necessary updates on timely basis.

Hope this helps.
It does confirm my thoughts. If you see the reply I posted to Tom a few minutes ago. Aw heck!. I got the .exe and the ISO. Now I got both of two worlds. Whatever works huh!!!! Thanks again.
