I installed a Canon camera hardware CD on my laptop through the "Found New Hardware Wizard".
Wow, does it fit in there? I only thought Virtual Cd's would fit inside software.
The install went in ok, but now everytime I turn on my laptop, the hardware wizard re-appears and I don't have a clue how to stop it from doing this eveytime I turn on my laptop! It's starting to get very annoying. I Googled this problem, but got a lot of different answers, so I thought I would see what the MVP's have to say. Any idea's on how to stop this from happening? Thanks!
Well, don't have the hardware CD in the computer next time you boot it up.
Or possibly if it really need to be in there, disable AutoPlay/AutoRun.
LOL, yeah-yeah, i know. It's not so funny when you're actually having the problem. Sorry, got no real solutions to offer.
