Hi People

I hope someone is able to help. I was having problem with my laptop with
applications so i decided to format it and install Windows XP again, which i
have been able to do. Problem i am having is that i am not able to connect to
my wireless connection and the wizard is not helping.

Could someone please assist me with connecting my laptop to my wireless modem?

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 and my wireless modem is Netgear

After you finished installing Windows XP, did you install the latest drivers for
your laptop's hardware devices?

Go to Control Panel and double click the System icon. Click on the Hardware tab.
On the Hardware page, hit the Device Manager button. In Device Manager, look for
items with yellow exclamation points next to them. You need to install drivers
for these devices so they'll work properly. You can obtain the latest drivers
from this Dell web site.

The easiest way to find the correct drivers is by entering your laptop's service
tag. Look on the bottom of your laptop for a sticker with a bar code and seven
alphanumeric characters. If you can't find the service tag, you'll have to pick
through the drivers listed here;

If after installing the correct drivers for your laptop's wireless networking
adapter you still can't establish a connection, you might want to post your
