Downloaded and installed SP 3 without a hitch.
Except for a prompt at reboot to turn on Automatic Updates (I do it
manually), I did not see any visible functional changes at all. Did see
more
detailed explanations in Local Security Settings, however.
After removing the uninstall files (made an image before and after) I
found
the total system size increase 'marginally' by less than 40 MB. This
machine
is always fully patched and up-to-date.
Boot is a trifle faster now though!
