How does one know whether Active X is installed on a system?
I am using Windows XP Pro. I have been attempting to update my software
and it keeps saying that Active X is required. I am asked whether it is
okay to install this software and I say OK. I next get a window that
informs me that the software did not install. Any thoughts as to what I
need to do to make Active X work on my system.
Thanks for any help sent my way.

P.S. I sent this same message yesterday but it does not show up on this
newsgroup. Is it there and I am doing something wrong? Help!
