Re: MSN Explorer

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I agree with you Malke, it would be better to do that. However, I have heard
people from other forums saying that a lot of times these techs cannot fix
their problems either, concerning this very same error message. A lot of
these techs do not speak English clearly enough, and that is very
flustrating, to say the least. Since I do not have physical contact with this
computer, I will advise her to call the folks at MSN to help her. Thank you
for the information.

Pa Bear, at this time we are beyond trying to solve it from the error
message. I would not have any idea how to do that, and I cannot find
anything about it on through Google. We would just like to know what
problems we may run into if we uninstalled it through windows components,
then download, and install the same version again. She gave me the error
message some time back and I lost it. I believe it said, MSN has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience. I have never had to uninstall and reinstall MSN Explorer so
I am not sure how to explain this to the person with the problem. I do not
have physical access to the computer. As I understand it the address book,
and the inbox are stored on the servers so she should not loose any of her
emails. Do you know of a way to back up the e-mail in the inbox just to be
on the safe side? This started after she downloaded and installed windows
live. She can use window live, but she wants MSN back. Thanks.

Your friend should contact MSN tech support and have them deal with her
directly.
