clicking on the folder they want, it goes into this 'remame' state, and then
they accidentally drag and the folder gets moved to somewhere else. Other

disappears because someone as accidentally moved it to become a sub-folder
somewhere else.
I agree slowing down the Double click feature may help, but as I said, I am
not always given access to Control Panel in a public library.
One thing that you CAN do is teach them to do the work from the left
panel, where the folder name cannot be edited using a second (slow)
click. Not a complete solution, but it may help.
