Help!
When I try to open my C or D drive by double clicking the icon, I get a
Windows Script Host Error
"can not find script file"
"C:\{HCQ9D-TVCWX-X9QRG-J4B2Y-GR2TT-CM3HY-26VYW-6JRYC-X66GX-JVY2D},vbs".
I have to open C or D by right clicking on the icon then select "Open", I
have some funny characters at the top instead of open.
What is the command to change it back so "Open" is at the top and I can
double click again?
I'm running Windows Xp Pro SP2, 1.39 GHz, 256 RAM, Averatec laptop
Thanks for your help!
Hopefully, the solution that Elmo provided solved your problem.
The reason I'm posting is that I couldn't help but notice that the name of the
..vbs file you mention above looks like two sets of XP CD keys. Splitting the
name in half and doing a Google search on each set of 5 X 5 characters returns
results that point to pirated Volume Licensing Keys.
Take a look at the 3rd and 7th keys listed on this web site. Combine them and
they form the name of that .vbs file.

That .vbs file along with the fact that you have strange characters showing up
on a right click context menu leads me to the conclusion that your computer is,
or was, infected with some type of malware.
Here's a site with general instructions on cleaning a computer.
