Re: Error message.

She was not attacking you. You mis-understood. Just follow her directions and on reboot you will be prompted with a dialog box about the changes you have made. In the lower left hand corner of that dialog box you will see what Malke was talking about.

HI
I keep getting this error message every time i start my P C.

Error loading c:\progr~1\ my webs-\bar\2-bin\mwsbar dll

any help appreciated.-

That file belongs to the My Websearch toolbar, which is malware. If you
have
recently cleaned up your machine then a reference was left in Startup.
See
the end of this post for how to manage your Startup matrix.

If you haven't recently cleaned up your machine, you need to do so. Go
through at least some of the malware removal steps listed at the
following
link. Do not skip the preparatory work.

For managing Startup:

StartRunmsconfig [enter]

This brings up the System Configuration Utility. Look on the Startup
tab and
find the probable culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, Apply and
OK
out. You don't need to restart immediately, but the next time you do
you'll
get a dialog saying you've used the Utility. Just tick the box that
says in
effect, "don't bother me about this again".

Important - Do not use the System Configuration Utility to stop
processes.
Instead, use StartRunservices.msc [enter] and do not stop any services
unless you really, really know what you're doing.
