Gurus,

Running Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional on Windows XP Pro SP2. I've
opened a PDF sent to me by another person and I want to edit it. I
want to replace certain words but all I can do is make a
strikethrough and annotate a comment. I though the Pro version of
Adobe Acrobat would allow me to make wholesale changes and not simply
just minor editing comments?

Contact the person who sent it to you and ask them to send you an editable
pdf.
Pro does allow you to make changes but the person who created the pdf can
limit what you can change. If the document was scanned to pdf instead of
printed to pdf, you won't be able to replace words either.
