USB

I an having trouble with active sync with a hp Ipaq2495 . I had no trouble
for 1year Now I keep getting message that "one of the USB devices attached to
this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. I tried a
clean reset on my Ipaq and I removed and reinstalled active sync. worked once
then it would not work again. I tried the procedure just outline again and
nothing this time. Went through the support dite and found a document #817900
but when I get to the registry I do not just have a usb file there are
numerous usb files and I don't know which one to edit.If anybody can help
with this problem or document?
