What I don't understand is why the laptop's maximum volume when using Windows
XP is not as loud as the maximum volume on the very same laptop when using
Windows Vista. I noticed this after the laptop was upgraded to Vista. There
is only a difference in the maximum volume when playing DVD's or watching
recorded TV. Both XP and Vista play other files such as music files at the
same volume.
I didn't know it was a laptop. I don't know, different operating
systems often have different volumes.
You may want to check with the xp or vista groups if you haven't done
that.
