Well, I went back and did a system manage and this is the result.
Total Physical Memory 4,096.00 MB
Available Physical Memory 2.42 GB
Total Virtual Memory 2.00 GB
Available Virtual Memory 1.96 GB
Page File Space 4.84 GB
Page File C:\pagefile.sys
I am so dense even after you seem to spell it out it is embarassing.

memory is a whole
nother aspect. but
just for curiosity sake
lets review some of the
data your were provided
accordingly:
your system has 4.096
gigs of ram installed.
and what is available to
use / free / unused memory
is 2.32 gigs of ram.
therefore, your system
is currently using 1.77 gigs
of ram, ie, (4096-2320=1774)
the question at hand is
if it is "true" that there is
1.77 gigs of software
and services actively
running in memory.
the next thing that can
be examined is your virtual
memory.
total virtual memory allocated
is 2000 and of that 1960 is
free / unused / available for use.
therefore the amount of vm
your system is using is a mere
40 megs.
now the space on the disk
reserved for use by the virtual
memory is called the
"pagefile". and just like
any file, it too has a size.
according to the data your
pagefile is set for a maximum size
of 5 gigs (or 5000 megs).
so at this time you have a
5000 meg large pagefile that
is being used for a 40 meg
virtual memory. another
way to view this is that
4960 megs of space is
empty space that cannot
be used by anything except
for virtual memory.
so it seems that some fine
wouldn't be a bad idea.

Does this look better or did my diskeeper take over when I turned it back on?

Looks to me like the new version blew out the old version and probably was

Taking these issues only:
I have 4GB ram not 2GB
I have searched for each of the ehome missing files (hidden files shown) no
dice not there.
I reread the Update for Rollup2 and it looks like this is a hotfix not a
complete download. I am pretty sure I downloaded the Rollup2 some time ago
from MSupdate. I don't think any program has been deleted.
Ehome folders:
Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft
Same for each user
Documents and Settings\Karen\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft
C:\Windows
And this interesting entry:
IIS_qss_wss_changehome located in C:\i386\IIS6CAB
I have little data on this computer but will definitely move it before I do
anything. This is a 720XPS Dell and I have had way too many issues to
start
loading it up.
Programs I generally use are Omnipage 16 (supposedly programmed for
multi-threads), DragonSpeaking (latest version), Office 2007--Outlook,
Word,
Access, Excel, IE7. It is a working computer--not a play computer. It is
up
to date including .net framework 3 which I think it was DragonSpeaking that
required it. I spend a lot of time at live streams on the web and on a
couple of forums.
Thanks a bunch and I know it might come to a time I want to go backward.
BUT NOT YET. I use AVG full package paid for internet security, virus,
spam,
etc. And I use Diskeeper. There you have it.
Once again thanks a bunch.

ok, well at least
we know a 'tech'
was involved and
some issues have
resolved. and i
don't have a problem
with providing some
additional fyi towards
the issue at hand.
however, it will take a while
for me to review the
additional information
you just provided. but the
best course of action is to
resolve what seems to be
"known" issues.
----------------------
briefly the number 2 is equal to
2 megabytes and is the low
end of the range.
the 1152 i provided is just an
estimate for the high end of the
range.
the initial size of 2 is the floor
or base, if you will. however the
high end can fluctuate but never
be more than 1.5 times the physical
ram. it can be more than 1.5 but
regular windows will never ever
exceed this limit. however, the
limit can be lowered down to
a respectable size.
although i do not know firsthand
your configuration, it would
not be unfair to say that if
it is a regular computer with
regular software then the you
might regularly need 70 to 300
megs of virtual memory, even
though you have 2 gigs of
physical ram.
therefore if yours is
set to a range of 2000-4000,
instead of 70-300 you can
see that your pagefile is
overstated. so my suggestion
is to set your range 2-1152.
still, 1152 could be considered
too high. but it is not high enough
to be detrimental to performance.
---------------
in regards to ehome,
the add/remove listing
is not always accurate
because folders can simply
be deleted instead of using
the add/remove method.
so perhaps the lines you see
are orphaned entries.
you might simply explore
your system directory for
the ehome folder as it would
be a better way to assess
if you have the needed folder
and files.
also, i would search for
"one" of those dll's notated
on the event viewer and see
which folders that file resides.
though the error message seems
to be highly technical, it really
is telling you that a file (dll) cannot
be copied from one place into
another.
in otherwords, something (a)
cannot be processed from a location (b)
into another (c). the variables of the
formula that you have to validate
are: a, b and c.
--------------
something to keep in mind
is that sometimes it is easier
to actually revert back to
factory defaults. this is
especially true if errors
continue to pop up
after resolving some. it is
like a vicious cycle that
can only come to an end
by starting from scratch.
but you probably already
understand the above.
hopefully, the ehome
issue and perhaps the
pagefile are the culprits.

Thank you again for the fast reply. First, I know all about restore to
factory state. No way am I ready to do that. Tech help is always
quick to
jump to that as a resolution rather then spend time to resolve
problems.
Initially, my problems began with the video driver. Believe that is
settled
now. During one of those sessions I had the tech uninstall the
Business
portion of my Outlook program. I believe now he did it improperly as
he
subsequently had to uninstall all the SQL stuff on my computer so I
would
boot without errors. I then had a problem with streaming video wherein
my
media player would replace the player on a particular web-page and not
play
the stream. Ultimately, if I clicked on a page such as wvec.com and
went to
interactive eagle cam the browser would blow out and close completely.
Seems
to be fixed now.
Ever since I have had this computer I receive this error and have yet
to
resolve what it is and it may simply be I shut down the computer with a
