Hi
I am trying to rebuild my Windows XP Pro (OEM) on my PC.
But after booting of my CD, and formatting my disc and rebooting (etc)
apparently Windows has failed to install a driver for my Ethernet
Controller.
So I cant even get on line to find one!
Any suggestions?
(I tried Add new hardware wizard but it simply says
"the drivers for this device are not installed Code 28")

For the motherboard drivers needed to enable the Ethernet adapter on that
board, go here and select XP Pro as the OS.

Do this on another PC, and just download the files to USB key or CD. It's
a good idea to burn them all to CD and keep them *with* your XP CD for
future installation.

Thanks Guys - I managed to install something off the Intel website
called "LAN_allOS_12.1_PV_Intel_141678.exe"
which seems to have given me Internet access. Yippee!
Cheers
