Re: Auto shut off

Karl,

Thanks for your advice. What should I look for in event log? In addition, I notice that when I use intenet to surf the website and auto shut off has higher frequency.

Scott,
Examine the event log.
Win+R || type EventVwr.msc || hit Enter

My notebook computer suddently shuts off automatically. The intervals are irregular, i.e. 5 mins to 1 hr. It does not seem to be power off as when I turn on the computer again, there was no question asking if boot-up executes normally. What should I check before I send for repair? I have no idea if it is caused by software or hardware.

Thanks,

Scott
