Is there a way of show the link speed of a auto negotiated connection?
Windows only shows if it is 10, 100 or 1000 MBit, where is, in GUI or
command line, half/full duplex? That's important, there are many problems
that arise from the auto-negotiation.

I'd like to know the answer for this as well. I have never been sure when to use Full or Half Duplex with my desktop machines or server, and have been suspicious about using Auto as the best policy.

If you have posted this question elsewhere, where?

It's up to the NIC driver to provide that, most don't.

To provide what? Those settings are on both NICs on my server, and three machines here, with separate NICs or onboard. They are also on this laptop I am using now.

I just am not totally sure when half or full duplex is needed. I remember asking in a network newsgroup a few years ago, but I got conflicting or confusing answers.

Select Auto, force Full-duplex IF auto fails.
