I have a problem at the end of configuring the Backup utility. Here, as
briefly as possible, is what I go through: Sign on as
administrator,Start,All
Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Backup, BU or Restore Wizard, BU
Files
and Settings, Let me chose what to BU [I chose], Save to Lexar Media (E:),
Name: Xena, Advanced, Normal, No verification, Compression or Shadow,
Replace
existing BU, I do NOT check "Allow only the owner or admin. to access,"
Run
BU later, Name: Carol, Start date inputted, set schedule, weekly, every 1
week on Thursday, at 10:00 am,
Set account Info. [here's where the problem lies] Run as
blahblahb\Administrator, Password Xena, Confirm Password Xena,OK And I
get:
"An error has occurred. The specific error is 0X80070005 Access Denied.
You
do not have permission to perform the requested action." So I return a
couple
of windows back, and leave the password blank (since I don't use a
password
to access my computer.) 10:00 comes and goes and the Scheduled Tasks list
says the task was not performed because "there was no user account
password
entered."
Problem: If I enter a password, it doesn't like it. If I don't enter a
password, it won't run the task. Suggestions?
