I've used Avira (the best), but that showed continuous activity when used with zone alarm so I went back to Avast but that had some problem or other so now I'm using AVG. There isn't much difference between any of them, AVG seems to be very light on resources. My reason for switching may not be applicable to other users although I can't for the life of me recall why I replaced Avast.
