The date and time was 1/30/2008 11:55 AM, and on a whim, Patrick Keenan pounded out on the keyboard:

I'm looking for something to control the amount of time a grandson spends playing games. He is fairly knowledgable and has admin rights to his XP Pro system.
Thanks.
To do this, you need a 3rd party tool like Net Nanny or cybersitter, which uses passwords not related to the user accounts. It won't matter if he has admin rights.
These provide lots of configuration and restriction options and logging.
You must use strong passwords and change them regularly.

For Cybersitter at least, it does/did matter. An Administrator can kill the process.
