I currently have Firefox (FF) set as my default browser. All web links I click on in FF open in FF. All files on my hard drive of filetype htm and html also open in FF. All links in any e-mail client also open in FF. However, links embedded in documents such as MS Word, Adobe Acrobat files, etc. open in Internet Explorer. I already have custom settings in "Set Program Access & Defaults" to use my current browser.

How do I get hyperlinks embedded in documents to also open in FF.

Running Windows XP HE SP2 with all current updates as of today.

You might try the "Fix File Associations" for HTM/HTML, URL & HTA.
