Well, I was installing .NET Framework 3.5 last year right after the
final
release via the posted weblink. That's pretty long ago and maybe
someone
else who didn't install .NET Framework 3.5 yet may want to answer your
question.

I think you may have answered my question.

You say that you also recall 1,2 and 3 plus SP's being offered by
Update but you installed 3.5 by link.

I have just had a look in Add/Remove and have the SP's for both 2.0 and
3.0, no sign of 3.5 though.

Perhaps it will be offered later.
