I have 1357 different files all labeled with our old commpany
logo. Now
the boss wants the new logo on each file.
Is there a way to change all these labels at once so I don't have
to open each one separately to rename them?
Window XP Home SP-2 , Explorer 7
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Do you mean the icon which displays the type of file in a folder
display? If so, that is simply a change to the icon which displays
for the particular file type.
You change the icon using folder options in the control panel.

From what you've said, it appears you want to change TEXT in several
text or word processor files, NOT a logo, which is a graphic image.
Assuming it's literally a text change you wish to make in several files,
yes, there are several 3rd party applications that can do that.

One such program is called Note Tab Light. You can open as many TEXT
files as you wish with it, and then proceed to change xxxxxx to yyyyyy
in every place it appears in all of the files you have open, all at
once.

Go to www.notetab.com to download it. The free version is called
notetab light, or you can also purchase a more powerful Pro version.
