Select Start, Run, type "cmd" without quotes and hit ENTER, type cd\ and
hit ENTER. Type "sc query application management" and hit ENTER. Note
result, type Exit and hit ENTER

I have never tried this so I will need to do some research. I will
post again some time toomorrow.

I am not sure whether you can do it some time after the event.

Hi All

I recently got the hotfix from Microsoft to fix this issue (see
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/328213/en-us). Unfortunately, the
fix wouldn't install and I got an eeror message that "You can only
install this update on a computer with no service packs
installed".

Does anyone know of a more recent hotfix for this problem?
Regards
