"Lost" MS Word.....

Hello, I hope someone could help?

A day or 2 ago my MS Word suddenly disappeared from the Desktop and the
Start Programs Menu, although I saw it in some page with many icons when I
started clicking away to find something. I also saw it in Belarc Advisor.
So I used the system restore, backed a few days, and the icon on the Start
Menu reappeared and thoought that's the end of the problem... but when I
clicked to open, it showed this message:

<<The Patch Package could not be opened. Verify that the Patch Packet exists
and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that
this is a valid windows installer Patch Package.>>
