The WEB toolbar keeps popping up all the time whenever I'm in any
Word 2000 file. I don't know what is triggering it, but it seems to
pop all the time now, even when I turn it off in the VIEW toolbars
menu.
What's going on? I haven't upgraded or updated Word in over a year.
How do I turn off the WEB toolbar permanently?
Hi - this isn't an OS issue - you'll get more expert help if you ask in a
Microsoft Word group. Try microsoft.public.word.*
To find the appropriate group more easily (as well as getting a better
overall experience in these newsgroups) you might want to consider using a
news client, such as Forte Agent, Thunderbird, or even Outlook Express,
rather than the clunky web interface. It's a lot easier to do nearly
everything that way. You can mark messages to be watched, filter the views
so you can see replies to your posts easily, and search.
The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like; no authentication is required.
