All avaliable network drives are mapped

This is a crazy one and I have done a lot of research but have been
unable to discover anything.
Many users have all certain drives mapped (ie H: or S:) These are
mapped by a login script to go to the correct spot.
Now however every drive letter after the first one shows as a
disconnected drive. (IE I: J: K:) if you double click on the drive it
will take you to the same server and share, of the legitimate drive
above it, but you can not disconnect it (error message stating it is
not found). I have run "net use /persitent:no" and rebooted the
computer and the drives go away for about 10 min and then come back. I
have ruled out group policy by setting users and computers in an ou
that is blocking inheratance. any help would be great.
