I installed the drivers during the xp install. I have access to the raid
utility during post and it says the raid is functional.

I didnt check your mobo manual, but is it neccessary to install raid
drivers during the winxp installation on this system?
Do you have access to the raid utility during the post sequence, or is
that what you meant by bios sees raid?

I have a ASUS P4P800-E motherboard with a Promise Raid controller and uses
the Promise FastTrack 378 driver. My OS resides on my C drive and I back
up to my D drive. My D drive is actually two hard drives running RAID 0 on
the Promise Raid controller. My C drive went bad and I replaced it and
installed a fresh copy of Windows XP Pro. Everything went well except now
I can't access any of the data on the D drive. The bios sees the array and
indicates it is functional. Windows sees the D drive but says it needs to
be formated. Is there anything I can do to get access to the data. Please
help.
