When I open word there is text on the page. This happens in Word and Outlook. Please help get the ghost out.
Do a search for, and delete, the file named "Normal.DOT." This is the template Word uses to create new documents, and it's apparantly corrupted (or something was accidentally saved as the template). A new Normal.DOT will be recreated afresh the next time you start Microsoft Word.
You have the same issue in Outlook because you've set Word as your default email editor from within Outlook.
