Re: IE Icon missing on Desktop

On 11/19/2007 8:50 AM On a whim, Fred pounded out on the keyboard

I mistakenly deleted the IE Icon on my desktop. It still shows up on other users of the same machine. I tried to remove/install windows components but that doesn't work. I'm running Win XP Prof SP2.

Hi Fred,

Right click on your Desktop and select Properties. Click the Display tab and then click the Customize Desktop button. On the General tab, check IE and OK out of everything. If it's checked (for some strange reason), uncheck it, OK out, go back in and recheck it.
