Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hello Ralf

I received an auto response which didn't answer or look at my query so I've
replied to them and are awaiting a response from graphics support.

I've looked at driver upgrades but am a bit worried about downloading and
fiddling more.

Would it be advisable to do a restore to before I downloaded v3 and all the
updates from windows xp, before I put the game back etc and download v2 which
was the initial error message?

I've checked add/remove programmes and although I only downloaded v3 it
seems that v2 is there too (net.framework)

Can't swear by it but AFAIK .NET versions are not upgrades from each other,
they are just different, so if ver.2 is specified then that is the one you
need.

Hi DB

Yes you are right it did say it wanted v2 but a friend advised to go to
v3.

I've just registered and sent in a support ticket and told them everything
I've done/downloaded etc and that's gone through to the graphics support.

I'm signing off now as I've been on this computer fiddling with this all
day
and it's now nearly 20.30.

I have printed out the instructions from the processor support but haven't
touched anything and will see what graphics support says.

I'll update you tomorrow and I appreciate all your help very much :)

If I had known putting on this demo game would cause all this trouble I
would never have installed it, but you live and learn.
