Re: SP 3 for XP

To add a little...
Think of your computer uses something like this.

A man buys a very cheap car.
Cheap so that if the car is damaged or destroyed, there is no real loss since it is easily replaced.
He drives like that as well.
No problem if anything is hit, bumped or scraped since the car will be replaced when the damage warrants.
This driver does not even think about the other vehicles on the road.
He also ignore his affects on pedestrians and nearby structures.
After all his car is easily replaced.

There are others on the road and your treatment of your computer can affect others.

Your plan ignores the fact much spam and malware are spread using compromised computers.

If you are not concerned if your computer gets malware, it is more likely soon compromised possibly before you have any clue there is a problem.

Those who spread malware like computers such as yours.
Those receiving the spam and malware dislike them for the inconvenience they cause.

Thanks for the info and I'm sorry I don't read all the posts . PA Bear
why you ask ? Simple, I don't use the computer for anything but
surf the web , Its not use for any type of work . I don't like using
all those anti -blah softwares ( ad aware , spybot , anti-virus or
firewall ) why ? I don't care if my computer gets infected , Once I
believe it has been ? I reinstall ...

BTW I don't send emails out , I just open them
