Hi,
I have three programs listed in Startup folder. One of which is Windows
Explorer. None of these programs starts at boot :(

In msconfig I use Normal and have not unchecked any Services.
Win Explorer is listed when I run Autoruns but doesn't start. The other
two are not listed and I cannot find instructions on how to add them to
Autoruns :(

I've rebooted several times without success. Help?

Sam

Items located in the Startup folder do not start at boot time.
They start at logon time. There is a big difference!

To resolve your problem, you need to supply this information:
1. The name of the logon account you use, e.g. Sam.
2. The exact name & location of the item, e.g.
c:\documents and settings\Sam\Start Menu\Programs\startup
3. A detailed description of the item. If it is a shortcut then
you must post the "Target" field. If it is a batch file then you
must post its contents.
4. What happens when you open the item directly by double-
clicking it.
