C:\Program Files\CTest????

I removed 30 processes and much dead wgt and now have my eye on this baby
noted above. A fat little piggy at 351 MB....hmmm

What is it?

And what do you see for the attributes listed under the Version tab when you right-click on the file(s) under that path to look at their properties? The author might be identified along with program name which could jostle your failing memory as to what you installed previously. Did you do a search in the registry on "\program files\ctest" to see if that path was mentioned under a more identifiable keyname there? Since the user usually gets the option to select the path of where to install a program, the path is probably not relevant to identifying the program versus mentioning the program's filename(s).

No nibbles back in techarena.in where you posted 21 hours ago, eh?

I have a sneaking suspicion that you obtained a used computer from someone else and are now trying to clean it up. Rather than try to clean it up and still be left with a polluted system, save your data files, reformat the partition, and do a fresh OS install.
